West Sound Workforce is assisting a well-established title and escrow company in seeking a Bookkeeper to join their Silverdale team. Reporting to the Accounting Team, the Bookkeeper will support the Title and Escrow departments by managing general ledger accounting activities in alignment with established policies, procedures, and internal controls. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative or accounting foundation, excellent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort working with financial data. Prior title or escrow experience is not required; training on internal systems and processes will be provided. Shift information:
  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Onsite
What you will do as Bookkeeper:
  • Support full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collections, and account maintenance
  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations; research and resolve discrepancies
  • Process daily cash deposits and maintain accurate financial records
  • Handle sales tax reconciliation and support compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve accounting and transaction issues
  • Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and other accounting functions as needed
What we are looking for:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; foundational knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and 10-key proficiency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting or payroll systems a plus
  • Excellent time management, organization, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while taking ownership of responsibilities
