Temporary Bookkeeper
Location: Montgomery, TX

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Business Hours

A growing company in Montgomery is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Bookkeeper to support daily accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong QuickBooks experience who can work independently, maintain accuracy, and assist with a variety of bookkeeping and administrative accounting functions in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Prepare invoices, enter payments, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
  • Generate financial reports and spreadsheets as needed
  • Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
  • Support office administration and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous bookkeeping or accounting support experience required
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks required
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Professionalism and confidentiality when handling financial information
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a small business or multi-tasked office environment
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and reconciliations
