About the Role

We are partnering with a growing accounting firm in Irvine seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant to support multiple client accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in owning the day-to-day accounting process. This is a fully onsite role and best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple sets of books.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple client accounts

• Perform month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations

• Prepare basic financial reports (P&L, balance sheet)

• Maintain accurate general ledger records

• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

• Support clients through email communication as needed

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness across all financial data

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of bookkeeping or staff accounting experience

• Strong QuickBooks experience (Online and/or Desktop) – required

• Solid understanding of month-end close and reconciliations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Experience working with small businesses or multiple entities is a plus

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

• Fully onsite in Irvine, CA
