Full-Charge Bookkeeper
A growing professional services firm is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to support multiple small business and individual clients. This hybrid role is based in the Sugar Land area with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote (Thu/Fri).
Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger and post journal entries
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and process payments
- Record cash receipts and disbursements
- Prepare client financial statements
- Process payroll for clients
- Prepare payroll and sales tax filings
- Provide light administrative support such as scanning documents and communicating with clients
Required Qualifications:
- Full-charge bookkeeping experience
- Intermediate QuickBooks and Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
