A stable, privately held organization is seeking a Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. This role is well suited for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes ownership of their work, and can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Full - Cycle accounts payable, matching/batching, GL Coding
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting
• Review transactions for accuracy and proper coding
• Manage vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements
• Support payroll processing and related recordkeeping
• Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and tax filings
• Monitor account activity and research discrepancies
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience
• Demonstrated employment stability and a consistent accounting background
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping
• Experience working within an ERP or computerized accounting system
• Comfortable handling multiple accounting functions simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Excel and other business software
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Compensation: $52,000 - $60,000, depending on experience.
