- 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (government contracting preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Unanet software (project-based accounting, cost tracking, cash flow analysis).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and general accounting systems.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (for compliance with government contracting requirements).
- Prepare and post journal entries in Unanet and QuickBooks Online.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Support budgeting processes and collaborate with tax/accounting teams.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
