Dutchman Hospitality Group is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our corporate finance team. This is a full-time bookkeeping and accounting role with room for growth, working closely with our Accounting Supervisor and gaining hands-on experience across core accounting and finance functions in the hospitality industry.

What You'll Do

  • Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare financial reports and variance analysis to help leadership make informed decisions
  • Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reporting
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing using Paycor or similar HRIS/payroll software
  • Help document, audit, and streamline internal accounting procedures and workflows
  • Support accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and audit preparation as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Experience with Sage accounting software a plus (Sage 100, Sage 300, or similar ERP)
  • Familiarity with Paycor payroll software a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Comfortable working with confidential financial data

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, or a related accounting clerk role preferred
  • Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or multi-unit accounting a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily sedentary office role; requires sitting for extended periods
  • Occasional reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
