Boom Assembly Mechanic

Boom Assembly Mechanic
Pay: $20–$26/hr
+ $2/hr shift differential for 3rd shift!
Shift: Monday - Thursday 6a-4:30p or Monday–Thursday, 8:00pm–6:00am (Overtime as needed)

Build heavy-duty boom trucks from the ground up!

Essential Job Functions

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, including weld symbols
• Install inner sections, reels, accessories, wear pads, hoses, winches, and cables
• Use conventional and precision measuring tools
• Complete inspections, certifications, and documentation
• Build, repair, and modify equipment to meet project specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Follow attendance and punctuality expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good math and measurement abilities
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Access)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems professionally
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous mechanical experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Ability to lift from floor to overhead positions
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Use hands and arms regularly for pulling, gripping, lifting, and tool operation
• Safely climb ladders, steps, and trucks as needed
