Booth Cleaner

Schedule

• 3rd Shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00pm to 4:30am

Pay

• $20.17/hr.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in industrial cleaning within the facility paint booths to clean walls, floors, grates, conveyor lines, machinery, robotics, and equipment (training provided);
• Work occasionally in confined spaces and from heights (ladder - 10 ft.) to provide cleaning services;
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50lbs for moving supplies, materials, and equipment;
• Wear proper PPE including retrieval harnesses, steel toe footwear, safety glasses, protective gloves, etc.;
• Perform repetitive tasks including lifting heavy objects, bending, prolonged standing, prolonged walking, and using blasting equipment;
• Follow all instructions and all safety policies, practices, and protocols;
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license;
• Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset;
• Must be able to perform all functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs;
• Must be able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks (bending/lifting);
• Must be available on weekends and for overtime as required;
• Ability to work independently and as an effective team member;
• Ability to commute to the GM Lansing Delta Township site location for work.
