Miller Pipeline is hiring a CDL Operator to assist the bore crew in the safety, planning, execution, and management of all phases of horizontal directional drilling (HDD).

Main Responsibilities:

• Install both steel and plastic pipe of various diameters.
• Keep up with preventative maintenance of the equipment and tooling.
• Follow strict HDD policies set forth by the company and/or customer.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve issues that may arise.
• Submit all production paperwork and records which may include as-builts to company and/or customer whether it be in paper or digital format.
• Plan bores, including how to combat various ground conditions.
• Communicate effectively in a team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Prior heavy equipment operating experience.

• Valid Class A CDL with all necessary endorsements.

• Minimum 2 years locating with DCI equipment, SE to Falcon F5 or newer.

• Proficient with Vermeer HDD equipment, knowing its capabilities and limitations.

• Ability to travel around the area.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer's operator qualifications.
