Boston - Debt Finance Associate

The Boston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP is seeking attorneys to join our market-leading Debt Finance Practice Group. The ideal candidate would have 3-6 years of experience in the structuring, documenting and negotiating secured and unsecured financing transactions for both borrowers and lenders, including senior secured, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions; acquisition financings; loan workouts and restructurings; and debtor-in-possession financings. Candidates with leveraged finance experience, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions, are preferred.

Kirkland & Ellis LLP offers a competitive salary structure as well as a robust offering of benefits to all of its employees and attorneys. Compensation is based upon the roles and responsibilities of the position, the experience and education of the applicant and/or employee and is aligned with internal pay equity within Kirkland & Ellis LLP itself. The hiring salary range for this position is between $260,000 and $390,000. These figures are not representative of the full compensation range for this position.
