Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
Location: San Diego, CA
Hours: Monday - Friday : 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Responsible for filling, capping, labeling, kit assembly, product pouching, completing batch records, and putting away Finished Good Inventory (FGI).
  • Highly team-oriented role requiring collaboration with various departments and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all BSL2 safety policies, correct procedures, dress code, and health/safety guidelines.
  • Follow line clearance policies to avoid cross-contamination, mix-ups, or incorrect items being bottled.
  • Perform kit assembly processes and pouching processes.
  • Perform various bottling-related tasks, including dispensing antibody solutions, capping, and labeling vials, tubes, or bottles.
  • Verify materials and documents to ensure information such as concentrations and lot numbers are correct.
  • Perform simple math calculations.
  • Put away finished goods in their designated temperature conditions.
  • Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Set up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations.
  • Operate computer-controlled process support/process equipment (e.g., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, and labeling machines).
  • Correctly follow SOP instructions for completion of job tasks.
  • Clean and maintain the work area, lab equipment, and supplies while adhering to 5S guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure timely completion of training documents.
  • Follow all GDP policies.
  • Perform other projects or responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform simple math calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to operate computer-controlled process support/process equipment.
  • Knowledge of SOPs, GDP, and 5S guidelines.
  • High school diploma/GED or some college.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a laboratory, biotech manufacturing, or filling/bottling/packaging working environment.
