Title: Boutique Coordinator Time: Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt (20 hours per week) Supervisor: Outreach Pastor SUMMARY Boutique Coordinator is responsible for creating an environment where lowincome families experience dignity and hope while accessing high-quality clothing SUPERVISES QUALIFICATIONS Character & Alignment - Live out godly character found in 1 Timothy 3:1-13.
- Champion the mission, vision, and values of ZCC in the church and the community.
- Member of ZCC who embraces the goals and doctrine of the church
- Tithing 10% of their income and investing in special offerings to ZCC to support the mission of the church.
Personal Qualifications - Gifted in fashion and design
- Proven ability to organize and administrate in a trustworthy manner
- Clothing retail experience preferred
- Committed to lifelong learning and personal development
- A minimum of a High School diploma and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential duties and responsibilities
- Self-directed and can work independently as required
Experience - Member of a team-oriented staff, including in a church or ministry environment
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to provide direction and inspiration to volunteers in organizing activities
- Service to the widow, orphan, imprisoned, homeless, sick, etc.
- Experienced in relating well to various demographics of clients, donors, church staff and others
Skills - Bi-lingual fluency required (Spanish and English) additional languages a plus
- Ability to be a team builder and team player
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Fluency in social media and basic online marketing skills
- Self-organized, takes initiative, able to work with details of operations
- Able to recruit and encourage volunteers with discernment.
- Excellent people skills; friendly and polite with good phone techniques
Responsibilities - Oversees volunteer recruitment, training and scheduling
- Manages inventory to prevent buildup of unsorted donations and out of season stock
- Arranges clothing display as well as organization and management of clothing donations
- Deals well with client escalations; professional demeanor and spiritual maturity to de-escalate
- Maintains weekly sales deposit and creation of payment vouchers submitted weekly by Monday
- Ensures proper communications through email, text, phone and other touchpoints
- Integrates ZCC vision into Boutique operation and communication
- Works with the Director in regularly evaluating programs for relevance and appropriateness
- Maintains a consistent social media presence
- Perform other necessary and related work as may be assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS - Pleasant, professional environment
- Regular and ongoing interaction with Pastoral Staff, Ministry Leaders, volunteers and Visitors
- A minimum of 6 hours per week during open hours at the Boutique with a balance of hours providing administrative and other necessary support. Online and phone tasks may be done remotely.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & HOURS - 10% of time spent sitting at desk (includes using a computer and telephone), 90% of time standing and walking
- 20 Hours per week
