    Essential Responsibilities

    • Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain Chevrolet and GM vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
    • Perform routine maintenance, warranty repairs, and advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics.
    • Utilize GM diagnostic equipment and service information to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
    • Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently while meeting quality and productivity standards.
    • Perform multi-point inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
    • Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate repair recommendations and vehicle status.
    • Maintain current GM certifications and complete all required factory training.
    • Follow all dealership safety policies, manufacturer procedures, and state regulations.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
    • Assist with other service department duties as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Current GM Certified Technician credentials required.
    • Previous dealership technician experience preferred.
    • Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions Licenses preferred or ability to obtain.
    • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
    • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment throughout the workday.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools.
