Job Summary

Under general direction, provides assistance to facility guests and staff in preparation for or during City events. Exercises no supervision.

This position is an "unclassified" position and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manages multiple customer requests simultaneously, maintains professionalism under pressure during high-volume sales periods, and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency while delivering exceptional service.
  • Responsible for accurately processing ticket sales, handling cash transactions, verifying seat locations, and ensuring proper cash-handling procedures are followed.
  • Proficiently navigates TM1 to research accounts, resolve ticketing issues, and exercise sound judgment when addressing seating changes, third-party ticket concerns, or account-related inquiries.
  • Greets guests courteously upon arrival and departure.
  • Receives tickets from guests and verifies the correct date at the entrance.
  • Responds to guest inquiries and requests for assistance.
  • Maintains assigned areas clean.
  • Reconciles cash receipts.
  • Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements

  • Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.

Applicant Information

  • Unless otherwise stated, applicants are permitted to substitute two years of related full-time experience for one year of higher education or one year of related higher education for two years of experience in order to meet the minimum requirements of the job. One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months. One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.
