A Ticket Seller<\/b> at DPAC is the first point of contact for our customers.  <\/span><\/span>You’ll provide accurate event information, assist with ticket purchases and exchanges, and guide customers through our website and mobile ticketing applications.<\/span><\/span>

What you’ll do:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/div>
  • Customer Service: We are here to help. <\/span> <\/span>With a positive attitude, you will answer customer questions and assist with ticket sales.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Eye for Detail: You will manage all transactions with the upmost accuracy.  <\/span><\/span>You will verify that the events you are selling and exchanging are in line with the customer’s request.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Guidance: You will lead customers through using the DPAC App, downloading tickets to their digital wallets, and using their phone as their ticket.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Season Tickets: Assist season ticket holders with exchanges, purchases, and ticket delivery.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Sales Management: Process incoming ticket sales via phone and in person.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash and credit card transactions responsibly and accurately.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

    • Computer Skills: While not mandatory, familiarity with ticketing systems and mobile phones is a plus.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • Communication: Willingness to listen and speak positively to coworkers and customers.  <\/span><\/span>Must be able to share information with customers to ensure a smooth transaction and that all questions are answered.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

      Physical Requirements:<\/span><\/b>

      • Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • Comfort with frequent standing or prolonged sitting.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Must be able to clearly communicate with customers.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

        • High School Diploma or GED.<\/span>

        • Reliable transportation to Durham, NC.<\/span>
