Box Truck Delivery Driver

We are looking for box truck driver to safely operates a medium-sized (10–26 ft) truck to transport, load, and unload mattresses, typically for local or regional deliveries.

 

Key requirements include a valid license, clean driving record, and physical stamina.

 

 

 

Pay Rate: Starts at $20/hr with some Prevailing Wage jobs starting at $50.00/hr

 

 

 

Shift: 6:00am - 6pm. (10 -12 hour days)

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Driving & Navigation: Safely drive box trucks size 26ft.

 

Cargo Management: Load and unload Mattresses

 

 

 

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires) and maintain cleanliness.

 

Documentation & Accuracy: Complete paperwork (bills of lading, invoices), verify shipments, and use scanning apps for proof of delivery.

 

Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, obtain signatures, and collect payments.

 

 

 

Common Qualifications

 

License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

 

Physical Strength: Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing over 50 pounds.

 

Experience: Previous delivery or commercial driving experience is a plus, but not required.

 

Skills: Strong communication, time management, and ability to navigate routes efficiently.
