Architectural Surfaces is seeking a Box Truck Driver who will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, delivery, and distribution of cabinets, countertops, reception counters, and other fixtures at the jobsite.

1st shift: Monday-Friday from 6:30am-3:00pm or whenever the last delivery is made.

Responsibilities:

Load trucks with cabinets and accompanying products ensuring safe securing methods to minimize damage. Deliver to commercial construction sites and distribute products to their appropriate locations in the building. Must wear PPE during site deliveries, boots, hard hat, eye protection, and high visibility vest. Responsible for general duties involving paperwork related to pick up and delivery, inspection logs, gas receipts and mileage. Must pass Medical Examiner's Report & DOT Drug Screen.

Requirements:

Valid Class C License and clean MVR. Lift truck and previous Box Truck Driver experience required. Strong attention to detail to assure safe, accurate, efficient shipment of product. Frequent moderate to heavy lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting. Requires the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment as well a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting: Frequently raises objects from a lower to a higher position or moves objects horizontally from position-to position. Weight is often more than 50 lbs. Push/Pull: Frequently uses upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. Weight is often more than 50 lbs. Reaching: Extends hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Weight is often more than 50 lbs. Stooping: Bends body downward and forward at the waist. Weight is often more than 50 lbs. Standing: Standing for sustained periods at a time. Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks often for sustained periods of time.

Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
