Rowdy Supply, a K-Solv Group company is a distributor of environmental and safety products with multiple warehouses across the Gulf Coast. Rowdy Supply has access to hundreds of manufacturers and suppliers to provide thousands of industrial and safety products to virtually any industry.
We are seeking a motivated, qualified individual to join our company as a Box Truck Driver. This position will be responsible for courteous, timely, and accurate deliveries of environmental and safety supplies to customers. This involves loading and unloading the delivery truck and ensuring that all cargo is safely secured before transport. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable guidelines, DOT, and Company safety procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive a 26-foot box truck to delivery environmental and safety supplies to customers
- Load and unload supplies using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Ensure all loads are properly stacked, secured, and stable
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct operations and maintain the facility in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner
- Maintain documentation of receiving logs and coordination with administrative staff.
- Perform pre and post trips to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in operational condition
- Maintain open communication with operations, leadership, and customers
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) of working hours and of vehicle service or repair status in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- Follow safe operating practices, including lock out/ tag out procedures to ensure proper operation of the truck
- Adherence to all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, USCG, and EPA regulations and standards
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), desired but not required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid State Drivers License Class C or above
- Ability to obtain a DOT physical from a Company approved provider
- Minimum of one (1) year of truck driving and delivery experience
- Valid TWIC Card or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards

- Ability to travel out of city or state as job demands
- Demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend associated documents and maps
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Ability to work other than scheduled times as necessary to meet deadlines or ensure that daily work is completed
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Work involves extended periods of sitting in cab of a truck
- Exposure to outdoor elements, unpleasant odors, exposure to fumes, dust, or uneven ground
- Exposure to all outside weather conditions
- Ability to regularly lift and push up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, and smell
