Box Truck Driver – 2nd Shift
Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Box Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently within a 20-mile radius, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of cargo.

Duties

• Operate a box truck or van to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as necessary for loading and unloading.
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.
  
  Experience & Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating box trucks or vans is advantageous.
• Experience with heavy lifting and moving various types of cargo is essential.
• Knowledge of using forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
• A valid Class A or Class B CDL is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining logs and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Strong commitment to safe driving practices and following all applicable regulations.

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
