Box Welder Opportunity in Vancouver, WA

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Box Welder role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG welding on box structures and fabricated metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Read and interpret welding symbols, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance with company standards.
  • Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding operations.
  • Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, calipers, and other precision tools.
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet daily production goals and project deadlines.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Identify and report equipment issues, material defects, or quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Assist with other fabrication and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience with MIG welding and metal fabrication required.
  • Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
  • Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
