Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Box Welder role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:
· Perform MIG welding on box structures and fabricated metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
· Read and interpret welding symbols, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication.
· Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
· Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance with company standards.
· Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding operations.
· Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, calipers, and other precision tools.
· Collaborate with production team members to meet daily production goals and project deadlines.
· Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Identify and report equipment issues, material defects, or quality concerns to supervisors.
· Assist with other fabrication and production duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Previous experience with MIG welding and metal fabrication required.
· Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
· Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
· Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
