Boys Assistant Soccer 9A Coach - Buffalo High School

Position: Boys Assistant Soccer 9A Coach

Location: Buffalo High School

Schedule: 2-3 hours/day, 5 days/week, 3 months/year, varying hours with evenings and some weekends, contest schedule & game/meet nights

Benefits & Rate of Pay: Per Master Agreement

Beginning: 08/17/2026

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach basic soccer skills, rules, and teamwork. Plan and lead safe, organized practices. Encourage good sportsmanship, respect, and positive attitudes. Help players improve their skills and confidence. Prepare the team for games and make fair playing time decisions when appropriate. Communicate with players, parents, and school staff. Ensure player safety and follow school and league policies. Promote discipline, accountability, and academic success.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coaching license or coaching minor preferred, not required.
• Coaching experience in the sport.
• Leadership skills & program vision.
• Organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
