Job Title: Brake Press Operator
Location: Maple Grove, MN
Compensation: $25.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 2:00pm–1:30am

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Brake Press Operators for a metal fabrication company in Maple Grove, MN. In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality metal components using precision equipment in a hands-on, team-focused environment. What You’ll Do as a Brake Press Operator:- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings
- Measure and inspect parts using precision tools to ensure quality standards
- Make machine adjustments to meet design specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns
What You Need to Bring to the Brake Press Operator Role:- 3+ years of experience operating press brakes or similar metal fabrication equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CNC press brake controls experience is a plus
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience preferred
