Brake Press Operator

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join their team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Brake Press Operator

Location: Centralia, IL

Pay Range: $19

Shift: 3rd shift (10pm - 6:30am)

What's the Job?

• Operate press brake or similar machinery efficiently and safely
• Set up, adjust, and maintain equipment to meet production specifications
• Position materials and tooling accurately according to specifications
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities as needed

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred; equivalent ability in reading, writing, and math required
• Knowledge of press operations and machine handling
• Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions
