About the RoleWe're hiring a Class B Brake Press Operator to support our metal fabrication team. In this role, you'll operate brake press equipment to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to production specifications. This position is ideal for someone with basic mechanical aptitude who wants to grow their skills and advance within the department.

What You'll Do

Operate brake press machines to bend and form metal partsLoad/unload materials and ensure proper alignmentInspect parts for accuracy, quality, and specification compliancePerform routine machine maintenance and report issuesFollow all safety procedures and use required PPEDocument production details and material usageCollaborate with team members to meet goals and deadlines

What You NeedEducation

High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required)

Experience & Knowledge

Basic mechanical aptitudeUnderstanding of brake press operations preferredAbility to read blueprints/work orders (training provided)Strong attention to detailBasic math skills helpful but not requiredWillingness to learn, adapt, and grow
