Brake Press Operator – 1st Shift

Location: Temple, GA Area

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Overtime: Must be available to work overtime, including extended shifts until approximately 4:30 PM and Saturdays from 6:00 AM–12:00 PM, as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Brake Press Operator to operate and set up brake press machinery used to form and bend metal parts according to production specifications. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate brake press machinery to bend and form metal materials.

  • Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.

  • Measure and inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality.

  • Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain proper production specifications.

  • Monitor equipment during operation and report any issues.

  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

  • Handle materials and finished products as required.

  • Work efficiently to meet production and quality goals.

 

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating a brake press or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, work orders, and measurements.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

  • Must be available and willing to work overtime, including extended shifts until 4:30 PM and Saturdays from 6:00 AM–12:00 PM, as needed.

  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.

  • Steel-toe shoes required.

  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
