What You'll Do as a Brake Press Operator:- Set up press brake machines with appropriate tooling, dies, and materials for production
- Position and align sheet metal to ensure accurate and precise bending
- Operate press brake equipment to bend and form materials per engineering specifications
- Inspect finished components using measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain and replace tooling to keep equipment in proper working condition
- Troubleshoot minor machine or material issues during production processes
- Monitor production flow and adjust operations to maintain efficiency and output
- Record production data, machine settings, and reports to support tracking and improvement
What You Need to Bring to the Brake Press Operator Role:- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Experience in machine operation or mechanical aptitude in manufacturing environments
- Experience in metalworking, bending, or tooling processes preferred
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and directives in English
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform frequent physical tasks
- Ability to perform basic math for measurements, materials tracking, and documentation
- Ability to follow safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment
