Job Description:

The Branch Manager for our Bozeman, Montana office, will oversee all daily branch operations. This entails hiring, training, and mentoring employees as well as, listening to employees and customers, and then solving their problems. The Branch Manager will be responsible for deciding how to allocate financial and manpower resources to drive the best results. This position is expected to consistently meet or exceed branch goals, both through hands-on efforts as needed and though leading and building the Bozeman team. This position includes analyzing all relevant financial data and using it to make informed decisions, as well as preparing and submitting verbal or written reports to the main office. It is important that the person in this role takes great satisfaction in making sure the branch is an example of all that A-Core stands for. This position reports to the Regional Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Create a work environment that maximizes employees' talents and encourages cooperation amongst teammates
• Create a clear and strategic plan for your branch that incorporates the business climate, availability of the workforce, industries in the area, and future growth
• Review and approve all billing invoices, job tickets and timecards
• Review and approve AP invoices
• Project and job bidding and estimating 
• Forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget of expected purchases for the coming year, and initiate any corrective actions from prior year
• Coordinate and hold weekly meetings with all branch supervisors
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
• Establish and maintain rapport with employees, customers, managers, and vendors
• Manage all aspects of hiring, development, coaching and employee retention within the branch
• Empower and motivate employees to find new strategies for improving the efficiency of the operation
• Ensure a safe, injury/accident-free workplace

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years Management Experience
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials and management principles
• Concrete Cutting Experience (Strongly preferred)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Must pass Drug Screen (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Background Check (may be required on specific jobs)
• Must have a good driving record (MVR)
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
• Be self-motivated and punctual
• Availability to travel, as needed
