Branch Manager

Dieterich Bank is looking for a Branch Manager to join our team at our Breese North branch.

Our Branch Managers play a vital role as they represent the face of Dieterich Bank within the communities we serve. This role is responsible for building customer relationships to develop business. Branch managers also provide leadership, direction, and coaching to build loyalty of the branch staff to ensure that all business development and customer experience efforts are successful.

A day in the life of a Branch Manager:

Your priority is to maintain a fun, friendly, professional, and respectful environment as the customer experience is what makes Dieterich Bank different. In short, as a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for staffing, training, maintaining a positive culture, developing the branch, and building customer loyalty. You will assist customers with new account set up, complete transactions for deposits and withdrawals, process payments, cash checks, assist with online banking and fraud related questions, and more. Part of the role also involves selling and promoting our products and services. Confidentiality and resolving customer concerns are a must!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in management, business, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of banking experience in a retail and consumer capacity
• 3+ year of successful leadership and management experience
• Must be dependable
• Must possess excellent communication skills. Consultative skills to identify a client's financial needs. In addition, must be able to communicate with customers well on a daily basis face-to-face or by telephone.
• Proficient in the use of technology (Microsoft Office, online banking, apps, etc.)

• Ability to work well with others and in a team environment, and assist other departments as needed
• Maintain accuracy by remaining detail focused consistently, and have the ability to organize efficiently

Work Schedule:

This position requires 40 hours per week with a schedule based on the hours of the branch and a Saturday rotation from 8:00am-12:00pm.
