The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for directing all aspects of distribution, customer service, inventory control, and administration while overseeing office and warehouse operations of a high volume, fast paced complete packaging solutions provider. Success comes from insuring the company's position as an important Supply Chain partner to our customers and the marketplace. Team building, meeting goals and objectives, and participation in company success makes this a challenging and rewarding role!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing accuracy, timeliness, and processing of daily customer orders with customer service team in support of sales team.
  • Review billing edit list on daily basis.
  • Oversee inventory levels and proper replenishment based on forecasts and historical levels.
  • Review daily Purchase Orders for accuracy.
  • Ensure accurate order fulfillment and shipping while coordinating with Warehouse manager and warehouse staff.
  • Responsible for recruiting, screening applicants, scheduling, and conducting interviews.
  • Review personnel records and time sheets to ensure completeness and accuracy before approving and sending to Human Resource Manager.
  • Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures while constantly striving for continuous improvement and efficient workflow.
  • Oversee and reconcile inventory counts on a quarterly basis and at year end. Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies.
  • Monthly review of financial statements, inventory turns, A/R reports, and KPI's. Offers suggestions to maintain and enhance profitable operations in the Branch.
  • Approves all payables and operating expenses incurred by the Branch.
  • Monitors and oversees the training of all new personnel.
  • Determines and plans workload for each employee.
  • Schedules monthly meetings to discuss employee issues, concerns, and problems.
  • Works with vendors on implementing new rebates, price supports and extending renewals.
  • Travels with Sales to see customers as the need arises.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business-related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of office management
  • Ability to maintain the upmost confidentiality and professionalism with excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-service-driven focus
  • Basic computer skills and program knowledge relevant to operations and accounting
  • Budgeting practices and the analysis of budgets
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Must possess the ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight deadlines to ensure maximum productivity
  • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships within an office
  • Ability to effectively communicate and train associates on documented processes
  • Adept at working on multiple concurrent tasks with little supervision
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Some domestic travel to any of the (10) company Branch locations
