Experience
- Operations or Retail Management: 3+ years in operations, retail store management, or branch supervision.
- Automotive Industry Knowledge: General automotive or parts knowledge preferred; specialized transmission parts knowledge is a plus, but complete product training will be provided.
- Cash & Accounting Basics: 1+ years of experience with basic cash management, daily deposits, or basic financial reports.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to connect face-to-face with repair shop owners and counter customers.
- Problem-solving mindset with a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Basic computer literacy using standard Office 365 / email applications and viewing Excel sheets.
- Ability to work comfortably with part numbering systems, prefixes/suffixes, and simple numeric sequencing.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish): Highly preferred to support local customer demographics.
Physical Requirements & Licensing
- Valid Driver's License.
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy automotive parts (such as torque converters weighing up to 75–80 lbs) regularly during shifts using appropriate carts and equipment.
- Completion of basic pre-employment screening and a brief parts-matching assessment.
Key Responsibilities
Branch Operations & Management
- Lead and oversee all day-to-day branch operations, maintaining smooth workflow and high customer service standards.
- Manage daily financial processes, including daily bank deposits, accounts receivable (AR) aging oversight, and processing product returns (RGAs and warranties).
- Support and work alongside warehouse personnel to organize stock, pull orders, check in cores, and maintain facility cleanliness.
- Review regular Excel-based operational reports (provided directly by regional management).
Business Development & Customer Service
- Deliver enthusiastic counter service for local walk-in trade customers.
- Answer incoming calls promptly to provide local support and prevent calls from rolling over to regional call centers.
- Conduct periodic face-to-face customer visits to local auto repair shops to build rapport, gather feedback, and secure repeat business.
- Collaborate closely with regional sales representatives to offer competitive pricing margins and capture local market share.
Inventory & Logistics
- Operate Android barcode scanners to track parts movement, inventory adjustments, and stock intake.
- Stage weekly return shipments/pallets and coordinate freight carrier pickup schedules.
- Safely operate a forklift (training/certification provided) to assist with freight loading/unloading.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Standard Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No night shifts or weekend work).
- Dress Code: Casual and comfortable (T-shirts, shorts, and tennis shoes inside the warehouse; collared/polo shirt when conducting customer visits).
- Paid Travel Training: Opportunity to participate in a paid 1- to 2-week immersive training program at our client's Phoenix distribution hub (all mileage, fuel, per diem, and lodging expenses fully covered).
Compensation & Comprehensive Bonus Structure
- Base Pay Range: $31.25 – $33.65 per hour (equivalent to $65,000 – $70,000 per year).
Incentive & Bonus Opportunities - Sign-On Bonus: Eligible for a sign-on bonus upon successful completion of the initial 90-day (520-hour) introductory period.
- Quarterly Manager Performance Bonus: Performance-driven quarterly bonus tied to branch profit, AR aging, and operational milestones (historically yielding $3,000 – $5,000+ per quarter).
- Profit-Sharing Program: Eligible to participate in profit-sharing after the introductory period.
