The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a trusted, family -owned wholesale distributor serving the low -voltage security industry to find an experienced Branch Manager to lead branch operations, drive sales growth, and build a high -performing team at their Chicago, IL location.<\/span><\/span>

Schedule: Full -Time<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

What You'll Do<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

  • Lead daily branch operations, including sales, warehouse, inventory, and customer service<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintain high customer service standards and resolve performance gaps<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Partner with Sales leadership to support growth strategies, vendor relationships, and customer development<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Prospect and develop new customer relationships<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Oversee inventory health, including surplus, slow -moving, and discontinued products<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Drive branch sales, gross profit, and key performance metrics<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members while supporting succession planning<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure accurate inventory control, merchandising, and showroom presentation<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Communicate effectively with corporate leadership and cross -functional teams<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    What We're Looking For<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>

    • High school diploma or equivalent<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 5–7 years of sales experience<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 1–3 years of management experience preferred<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience in low -voltage industries, including fire & life safety, access control, surveillance, or voice/data<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem -solving skills<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to travel occasionally and work some evenings or weekends (less than 10%)<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Work Environment<\/span><\/span>
      <\/p>

      • Branch and warehouse setting with regular interaction with customers, staff, and inventory<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 70 lbs<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Comfortable using standard office and warehouse equipment<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>
