Our client is looking for a motivated Branch Manager to help lead and grow their new location in Macon, GA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in heavy equipment, parts, service, or a related industry who wants to play a key role in building a growing branch from the ground up.
The Branch Manager will oversee the parts and service side of the branch while working closely with customers, technicians, sales, and company leadership. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, business-minded, and comfortable taking ownership of a growing operation.
What You'll Do
Oversee daily parts and service operations for the Macon branch
Help establish the branch and build its local customer base
Lead, support, and develop branch employees
Coordinate with technicians and service personnel to keep work moving efficiently
Work with customers to understand their equipment and service needs
Identify opportunities to grow parts and service revenue
Partner with the sales team to support customer and business development efforts
Handle customer concerns and help resolve issues
Establish efficient processes and maintain a strong team culture
Monitor branch performance and communicate key needs and opportunities to leadership
Assist with hiring and onboarding as the branch grows
Lead by example and maintain a safe, professional, and accountable work environment
Qualifications
Experience in branch management, service management, parts management, or a similar leadership role
Background in heavy equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, industrial equipment, or a related industry preferred
Strong understanding of equipment parts, service, maintenance, and repair
Experience leading or developing employees
Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, sales, and leadership
Strong business development and problem-solving skills
Understanding of basic sales, budgeting, and branch operations
Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and make decisions independently
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Comfortable working in an office, shop, and customer locations
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the local market
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or management is a plus
Experience with CRM, service management, dealer management, or similar software is a plus
