Branch Manager – Manufacturing & Distribution Operations
Compensation: 
$70k - $78k (base salary) + commission
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee daily operations for a machine and repair branch supporting manufacturing and distribution operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for branch performance, employee supervision, customer support, operational efficiency, and inside sales support.

The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, repair, or distribution environment and possess strong operational, customer service, and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and efficiency goals are achieved
  • Supervise and support branch personnel while maintaining a positive and productive work environment
  • Assist outside sales representatives in maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering high-quality customer service
  • Support inside sales activities, including parts order processing and customer communication
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of inventory and parts systems
  • Track order statuses and proactively communicate updates or issues to customers
  • Organize and prioritize branch workflows, staffing, and operational tasks
  • Evaluate branch performance metrics and identify opportunities for operational improvement
  • Provide technical guidance and support to branch employees as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with Human Resources to address employee relations matters and workplace concerns
  • Prepare operational reports and communicate branch issues or updates to leadership
  • Support special projects and additional business initiatives as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, repair, or distribution environment
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP systems, including Global Shop Solutions, is a plus
  • Background supporting parts operations, industrial equipment, or repair services preferred
Work Environment
This role operates in a combination of office, warehouse, outdoor, and manufacturing environments. Candidates may occasionally be exposed to varying temperatures, noise, dust, humidity, and moving machinery. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, and move throughout warehouse and inventory areas
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 70 lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to maintain close visual focus for reading and computer work
