We place high value on training and professional development, encouraging you to broaden and strengthen your unique skill sets so you can fully realize your potential.Job DescriptionPerformance Contracting is seeking a Branch Safety Engineer for its Boise 548 operations based in Boise, ID .This individual will be responsible for the following duties:ResponsibilitiesAssist with implementing and administering PCG and client accident prevention plans, policies, and proceduresProvide safety technical expertise, training, and supporting resources to the branch and workersAnticipate, identify, evaluate, and mitigate safety and health hazards, both routine and non‑routineConduct job site inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety policies, procedures, and accident prevention plansPromote and enforce safe work practices among all employees through coaching and ongoing safety engagementInvestigate and report work‑related injuries, illnesses, and near‑miss incidents, enforcing corrective actions to prevent recurrenceReview all safety incidents and investigation reports to verify accuracy and completenessEnsure timely submission of PCG and client safety & accident reports, statistics, and documentationAct as a liaison between the company and clients regarding site safety managementEstablish branch and project safety goals while ensuring adherence to safety regulationsEvaluate and approve safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)Salary Range$69,000‑$91,100 annual salary plus non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program.Basic RequirementsMust have at least 3 years' experience working in construction safetyMust have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, a related discipline, or comparable work experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordA clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawingsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they are taughtStrong customer service skills and an ability to build lasting client relationshipsMust have critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills with an ability to work under pressure and deadlinesAbility to prioritize projects and daily activitiesGeneral knowledge of trade tools, equipment, and materials used in the construction industryStrong working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations and construction safety standardsPreferred RequirementsOSHA certificationBoard of Certified Safety Professionals credential (e.g., CHST, ASP, CSP) is a plusFluency in Spanish is preferredTraining experience is preferredOtherThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.BenefitsCompetitive payEmployee stock ownership plan (ESOP)401(k) retirement savings plan with matchMedical, prescription drug, dental, and vision insurance plans with flexible spending account optionLife insurance, AD&D, and disability benefitsEmployee assistance program (EAP)Flexible paid time off policy and paid holidaysEqual Employment Opportunity StatementPCG provides equal employment and affirmative action opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.Drug‑Free Workplace StatementPCG is a background screening, drug‑free workplace.
