Branch Safety Supervisor - Construction & Manufacturing

Location: Durham, NC (Raleigh-Durham 531 Operations)

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a Branch Safety Supervisor to join our team in Durham, NC. This role is best suited for professionals with construction and/or manufacturing facility build-out experience who want to strengthen safety practices on large-scale projects.
Responsibilities
  • Support branch operations in implementing and administering accident prevention plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide safety technical expertise and serve as a resource for employees.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and investigations of incidents with timely and accurate reporting.
  • Enforce corrective actions and coach employees on compliance with safety standards.
  • Serve as a liaison with clients on safety-related matters.
  • Establish branch and project safety goals and prepare monthly reports.
  • Review and approve safety equipment and PPE.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Health & Safety within a construction or manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience in construction build-outs for large commercial buildings or manufacturing facility expansions.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, EPA regulations and construction safety standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-relations skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA certification.
  • Safety credentials such as CHST, ASP, or CSP.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Experience in safety training.
