Branch Sales Associate

Location: Elmsford, NY
Starting Pay: $24.50/hour
Schedule: Monday Friday, approximately 20 30 hours per week
Hours: Candidates must have flexibility to work between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM based on business needs.

Position Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Branch Sales Associate to support both customer service and warehouse operations. This position works directly with walk-in customers to identify their needs, recommend appropriate products, process orders, and provide a positive customer experience.

Throughout the day, you will shift between assisting customers and completing warehouse, inventory, and merchandising responsibilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, comfortable working with customers, and able to learn multiple computer systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service through in-person, phone, and email interactions.
• Assist customers with product selection and identify solutions that meet their needs.

• Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with customers in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Ability to work approximately 20 30 hours per week with flexibility between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday Friday.
• Comfortable working in both customer-facing and warehouse environments.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier items with assistance.
• Willingness and ability to learn and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn multiple systems.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to shift priorities throughout the workday.
• Accurately enter and process customer orders.
• Identify additional sales opportunities and help build customer loyalty.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call and shipping orders.
• Safely load products into customer vehicles.
• Prepare customer backorders and put away incoming inventory.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate stock levels.
• Replenish showroom merchandise and maintain organized product displays.
• Learn and navigate computer systems used for customer service, order processing, and warehouse activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional branch environment.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform additional branch and warehouse duties as assigned.
