Brand Ambassador - Food Show Event - Wichita, KS

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking talented, energetic individuals to join our Flex Team as Brand Ambassadors. As a Brand Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in representing CORE Foodservice and its brand partners at the BEK Wichita food show. This event is a prime opportunity to showcase our products and create a lasting impression on attendees. Your energy and passion will be instrumental in driving engagement and building relationships with industry professionals.

Activation & Shift Details

• Event: BEK Wichita

• Location: Mulvane, KS 67110

• Activation Date(s): September 22, 2026

• Show Time: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

• Staffing Need: 3 Brand Ambassadors + 1 Back-Up

• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

• Pay Schedule: This is a W-2 position; pay is processed weekly.

Applicants must be available to work the full scheduled shift on the activation date(s).

Responsibilities

• Represent CORE Foodservice and brand partners with a professional and enthusiastic attitude.

• Engage attendees, initiate conversations, and provide product insights and samples.

• Support booth operations, ensuring a well-organized and inviting space.

• Assist with product demonstrations to create an immersive experience.

• Gather attendee feedback and maintain a positive, friendly ambiance throughout the event.

Qualifications

• Professional, polished demeanor with exceptional communication skills.

• Energetic and passionate about food and brand representation.

• Able to connect with diverse attendees and build rapport.

• Comfortable standing for the full shift and working in a busy event environment.

• Prior brand ambassador, event, or customer-facing experience preferred.

• Reliable transportation to the venue and a smartphone for app-based scheduling and timekeeping.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and engage attendees in a professional, upbeat manner

• Assist with placing orders using a computer or iPad

• Guide customers on how to scan QR codes

• Transport trays of cooked products between kitchen and booths

• Replenish booth supplies as needed

• Stand and walk for extended periods

• Lift up to 15 LBS

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be reliable, energetic, and able to take direction

• Comfortable with standing and walking for long periods

• Tech-friendly (basic iPad/computer use)

• Able to lift light items and move quickly between stations
