SUMMARY:
The Brand & Marketing Operations Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the operational rhythm behind all brand marketing and creative initiatives. This role serves as the central project management and operations lead across Marketing, Creative, Ecommerce, Product, Sales, Customer Experience, and external agency partners.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. They are responsible for ensuring projects move efficiently from concept through execution, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and communication while providing visibility into priorities, risks, and progress.
This role is critical to creating a disciplined operating cadence that enables teams to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Creative Operations
- Own the integrated marketing and creative calendar across all business initiatives.
- Build and maintain project timelines for seasonal launches, campaigns, photoshoots, videos, retail programs, PR initiatives, and product launches.
- Coordinate priorities and workload across Marketing, Creative, Ecommerce, Product, Sales, and Customer Experience.
- Ensure projects move efficiently from briefing through final execution.
- Identify timeline risks and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
Go-to-Market Management
Own the operational execution of all product launches by coordinating:
- Creative asset development
- Product photography
- Copy development
- Retail marketing materials
- Sales presentations
- Website readiness
- Email and CRM launch timing
- PR materials
- Influencer and partnership deliverables
- Launch approvals
- Maintain launch readiness checklists and ensure all milestones are completed before launch.
Creative Project Management
- Manage intake and prioritization of creative requests.
- Build detailed project schedules and production timelines.
- Coordinate review cycles, revisions, approvals, and final asset delivery.
- Facilitate communication between Marketing and Creative to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Organize creative assets, documentation, and file management.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as the operational hub connecting:
- Marketing

- Product
- Sales
- Customer Experience
- External agencies and vendors
- Lead recurring status meetings, communicate priorities, document action items, and ensure accountability across teams.
Budget & Resource Management
- Track marketing and creative budgets.
- Monitor agency, production, photography, event, and freelance spending.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments.
- Assist leadership with budget forecasting and resource planning.
- Track project costs against approved budgets.
Vendor & Agency Management
Coordinate relationships with:
- Creative agencies
- Public relations partners
- Photographers and videographers
- Production companies
- Freelancers
- Printers
- Packaging vendors
- Ensure vendors deliver work on schedule and within budget.
Workflow & Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain project management systems and workflows.
- Standardize creative briefing, approval, and launch processes.
- Improve communication and operational efficiency across departments.
- Recommend and manage tools that support project execution and collaboration.
Reporting & Executive Communication
Prepare weekly leadership updates including:
- Project status
- Upcoming milestones
- Launch readiness
- Budget updates
- Resource allocation
- At-risk projects
- Key action items
- Provide leadership with clear visibility into priorities and execution.
