The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking a highly creative and visually driven Brand & Creative Manager to help shape how Scripps presents itself to advertisers, partners, and the marketplace. This role combines hands-on creative development with opportunities to contribute ideas, influence campaigns, and help evolve our brand presence across sales and marketing initiatives. You'll help shape the visual identity and narrative voice of Scripps Ad Sales across every touchpoint—from client pitches and sales enablement tools, to digital campaigns and industry events.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop, design, and deliver high-impact client presentations, sales narratives, marketing collateral, and creative concepts that elevate the Scripps brand and drive business results.

  • Partner directly with the Director, Brand & Creative Partnerships to evolve the visual identity, brand positioning, and go-to-market storytelling of Scripps Ad Sales.

  • Steward the Scripps Ad Sales brand, ensuring strict consistency, premium polish, and a best-in-class visual and verbal identity across all internal and external touchpoints.

  • Act as a hands-on creator, developing scalable design systems, reusable templates, and creative workflows that improve efficiency while maintaining a high standard of execution.

  • Support the activation of brand experiences, sales resources, event collateral, and creative assets for industry events, sponsorships, and digital client engagements.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Research, and Leadership teams to develop ideas and translate business objectives into clear, engaging, and visually compelling stories.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience

  • Generally, 8+ years of experience in related field preferred

  • Portfolio highlighting presentation design, visual storytelling, brand development, and creative execution strongly preferred

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Hybrid creative mindset blending design experience that has expanded into brand strategy, copywriting and campaign execution

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and presentation software (PowerPoint)

  • Proven experience building and optimizing email marketing campaigns, digital newsletters, and social media strategies

  • Meticulous organizational skills with the ability to manage project timelines, coordinate with internal design teams

  • Expertise in event marketing, experiential activation, or trade show collateral is a strong plus

COMPENSATION RANGE:

: $95,000.00 - 110000


 

Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in New York.
