Position Summary:

The Brand Manager position on Calphalon will support the development and execution of strategic brand initiatives that drive brand growth and maximize value share. The role is a critical team member, responsible for delivering new cookware innovations and managing the core business.

• Deliver consumer-first innovations in the cookware category, as well as own long-term innovation funnel
• Manage the business with an eye towards speed and focus on increasing gross margin and overall brand profitability
• Collaborate across all key functions globally and be recognized as a key leader in driving the cross functional team and agenda
• Help refine the Calphalon brand strategy and brand positioning in partnership with your leadership team to align with market trends and consumer insights

The ideal candidate will bring at least 4 years of brand management and innovation leadership experience combined with proven ability to drive omnichannel growth in multiple sales channels.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead cookware product development and launches, ensuring delivery on time and in full. Lead project from concept to launch.
• Oversee commercialization of new launches, including readiness with creative, packaging designs, content, etc.
• Help lead creation of long-term innovation funnel while aligning with brand strategy.
• Support Annual Brand Plan development with a focus on core cookware business.
• Own on-going performance of cookware portfolio while leveraging data sources (POS, eCommerce, consumer research, digital analytics) to track successes and identify opportunities
• Support creation of sell-in materials to support U.S. launches.
• Exhibit strong collaboration with cross functional partners. Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, R&D, Supply Chain, and Marketing partners to deliver on key initiatives
• Support growth of DTC channel, including promotional activations and new product launches.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

• A four-year college degree, MBA preferred.
• 4-6+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related field
• Experience in CPG or consumer durables preferred
• Experience diagnosing business performance using tools like ACNielsen, IRI, NPD or other systems measuring POS and shipment data
• Exposure to consumer insights and leveraging analytics of primary and secondary research, emerging trends, POS results and competitor/category actions to drive leadership brand sales.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into action
• Experience leading product launches and innovation projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
