This newly established team drives brand creative campaigns across paid digital, paid social, influencer, brand partnerships, and brand activations - all in service of key business priorities. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role. You'll lead media plan execution, shape creative strategy in real time, and act as the connective tissue between our internal teams and agency partners. You'll also bring a sharp cultural instinct - helping the Kindle brand show up in the moments and spaces that matter most to our customers. Key job responsibilities - Lead elements of media plan execution including variant mapping, comms planning, and real-time creative optimization strategy - Translate business signals from established review meetings into proactive marketing recommendations that support business goals - Liaise across sales, Amazon-owned surfaces, organic social, and media teams to find synergies, maximize creative value, and drive campaign impact - Support management of media and influencer agency partners - Partner with PR and organic social teams to bring key consumer messages to life across channels - Champion campaign work cross-functionally - communicate strategy clearly and early to stakeholders upstream - Act as a culture curator: proactively identify ways the Kindle brand can participate in and shape culture against our customers' priority passion points - Up to 15% domestic travel (e.g., agency on-sites, shoots, brand activations) A day in the life Morning - Creative Performance Review You lead a cross-functional meeting with the Amazon.com team. You identify the top-performing asset and recommend it for Amazon.com. You align the room and own next steps. Midday - Media Optimization You run the weekly optimization session with the agency. You direct spend toward top-performing channels and own the rationale. Afternoon - Monthly Business Review You sit in on the MBR where sales shares last month's performance. A Kindle feature is outperforming. You connect the dots and brief the social team to produce more content around it. You don't wait to be told. About the Company

A

Amazon

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
