Title: Brand Merchandising Specialist (Contract)
Duration 7+ Month Contract
Work Location: Beaverton, OR Onsite (Hybrid Schedule 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Brand Merchandising Specialist to support the merchandising team in driving consumer-focused assortment strategies and marketplace execution. This role will collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Merchandising teams to develop consumer-right assortments, optimize product placement, and support channel-level merchandising initiatives.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong merchandising expertise with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute consumer-right assortment strategies aligned with marketplace needs.
  • Finalize category assortment plans, including pricing, distribution, and product flow decisions.
  • Ensure assortment strategies deliver clear market segmentation and product differentiation.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and merchandising execution across assigned product categories.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Merchandising teams to identify the right products for key retail accounts.
  • Assist with product allocation and assortment optimization.
  • Analyze consumer insights and marketplace trends to drive business decisions.
  • Optimize planning and placement of products across appropriate retail channels.
  • Present merchandising strategies and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain merchandising tools, reports, and product data using Microsoft Excel.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (not mandatory).
  • Minimum 5 years of merchandising experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Apparel or footwear merchandising experience.
  • Assortment Visualization (AV) experience.
  • Previous experience supporting channel merchandising.
  • Prior experience with a leading global athletic or retail brand.
  • Retail store or in-store merchandising experience.
