Brass Coach
(Seasonal)
Anticipated Start Date: August 10, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Attend all marching band rehearsals and competitions
- Warm up, teach, and coach students in successfully performing their music and visuals
- Assist band members in reading their drill and finding their spot on the field
- Support the individual leaders in the brass section
- Analyze performance recordings to generate a list of errors and accolades for use in future rehearsals
- Run full brass sectionals if need arises
- Confer with Visual Coordinator and Music Coordinator with regard to drill and music execution
- Other related duties, as assigned, to prepare students for competitions and public appearances
