Description

Bravo1 Protection provides security and event staff for dozens of events throughout the year, including Artisphere, Fall for Greenville, Clemson football games, Pickens County sports events, festivals, concerts, and other high-energy community events. This part-time seasonal role is a great fit for people who want to earn extra money a few times a month, get out of the house, be part of exciting events, and work a flexible schedule. Event Staff team members may be assigned to a variety of guest-facing and access-control duties based on event needs. These are not separate positions; hired staff may be scheduled for any of the duties listed below.

What You’ll Own

  • Own a professional, helpful event presence that supports guest safety, crowd flow, and a positive event experience.

  • Own clear communication with guests, teammates, supervisors, and event leadership while following assigned post orders and event rules.

  • Own dependable attendance, punctuality, and readiness for the event dates and shifts you commit to work.

  • Own a calm, respectful, customer-service-focused approach when directing guests, checking credentials, monitoring entrances, or enforcing event guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stand assigned perimeter posts and help prevent unauthorized access to event property, restricted areas, vendor spaces, staff-only zones, or ticketed areas.

  • Work static posts by directing guests, answering basic questions, assisting with crowd flow, monitoring alcohol safety, and helping enforce event rules.

  • Check IDs, apply wristbands, verify credentials, and support age-restricted or access-controlled areas as assigned.

  • Support parking operations by collecting money, directing vehicles, guiding pedestrians, answering basic parking questions, and helping keep traffic moving safely.

  • Work gate check assignments, which may include bag checks, wanding, temperature checks, ticket or credential checks, and other screening tasks based on event requirements.

  • Report concerns, safety issues, rule violations, suspicious activity, medical needs, or guest conflicts to a supervisor promptly and accurately.

  • Follow event-specific post orders, supervisor instructions, client expectations, and Bravo1 Protection policies at all times.

  • Perform other event support duties as assigned based on client needs, event layout, staffing levels, and safety priorities.
