Job Title: Brazing Assembler (1st Shift)
Location:  Archdale, NC 27263
Pay Rate: $14.00 - $15.00 / Hour
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Temp-to-Hire)
Job Overview:
The Brazing Assembler performs a variety of tasks associated with assembling components and sub-assemblies using mechanical drawings, Bills of Materials, and work instructions. This role involves operating equipment and machinery (including heat-conducting metal bonding/brazing machines and air tools), performing quality inspections, conducting product testing, and maintaining production efficiency in accordance with company safety standards and 5S guidelines.
Job Specifications:
  • Assemble products and sub-assemblies according to mechanical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and detailed work instructions.
  • Safely conduct and monitor machine operations, including brazing machines and pneumatic/air tools.
  • Perform quality inspections, audits, and product testing to ensure parts meet standards without creating defects or rejects.
  • Calibrate finished goods and tools, maintaining appropriate documentation.
  • Package finished products and complete required shipping paperwork.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) items.
  • Maintain designated line efficiency and assembly pace set by operating standards.
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized to promote 5S principles.
  • Report quality, equipment, or material issues immediately to the Group Lead or Production Supervisor.
  • Provide hands-on training to co-workers as needed and cross-train in other plant departments as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail when performing tedious or repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow mechanical assembly drawings and written instructions in English.
  • Experience using hand tools, pneumatic/air tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong work ethic.
  • Physical capacity to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
  • Physical capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.
Education Requirements:
