BREAKDOWN & SORT/GENERAL LABOR - Brooksville Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Breakdown/Sort General Laborer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in sorting and disassembling computers and electronics and ensuring the proper recycling and repurposing of materials. This position involves heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis, as well as the use of basic hand tools. Responsibilities:- Sort and disassemble consumer electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, etc.
- Identify and separate parts for scrap or reuse.
- Shredding of plastics and more.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment for disassembly.
- Ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
- Cleaning, sweeping, organizing and maintaining the workspaces as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to work in and around industrial shredders and other equipment.
- Comfortable working in a hot environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to undergo drug and background screening.
