Breakfast Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing guests with a welcoming breakfast experience, ensuring food safety, and maintaining cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills, with experience in food preparation and restaurant operations. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are stocked, fresh, and appealing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional guest service
• Handle food handling duties including plating, portioning, and presentation of breakfast offerings
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
• Busing tables and clearing dishes efficiently to maintain a tidy dining environment
• Restock supplies and assist with meal preparation as needed
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred; experience with kitchen work or food preparation is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent guest relations
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Customer service-oriented mindset with friendly phone etiquette for guest interactions over the phone or in person
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed; prior banquet or catering experience is beneficial
• Basic knife skills, food handling knowledge, and familiarity with dietary accommodations are desirable

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
