Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Breakfast Attendant/Public Area Attendant to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for our guests during breakfast and throughout public areas of the hotel.

Responsibilities:

  • Breakfast Area Duties:

    • Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

    • Prepare and replenish food and beverages in the breakfast area as needed.

    • Assist guests with breakfast selections and provide excellent customer service.

    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of dining areas, wiping tables, and disposing of trash.

    • Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are met in accordance with health and safety regulations.

    • Restock breakfast items, condiments, napkins, and silverware as required.

    • Clean and sanitize breakfast equipment, utensils, and serving areas.

  • Public Area Duties:

    • Clean and maintain public spaces such as the lobby, hallways, restrooms, and stairwells, ensuring they are presentable and safe.

    • Monitor and report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate department.

    • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting guests with directions or requests.

    • Ensure that all public areas are stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., tissue, hand sanitizers, soap).

    • Assist with special guest requests or needs throughout public spaces.

  • Additional Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the setup and breakdown of meeting or event spaces if required.

    • Follow all hotel policies and procedures to maintain safety and security.

    • Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or cleaning preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.

  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive and friendly attitude.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift items for extended periods.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
